JOB SUMMARY: SENIOR PROCUREMENT MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Food Manufacturer on the East Rand
My client is looking for a seasoned procurement Manager with at least 8 years in a senior position. MUST HAVE DONE PROCUREMENT IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY. You will be responsible for all procurement activities in the business and be responsible for developing procurement strategies as well as systems. Product availability, cost and risk are part and parcel of purchasing decisions. Maintain contracts, supplier agreements and ensure they are being honoured. You will deal directly with key suppliers and maintain relationships across the board. Preference is given to BEE candidates.
MUST HAVE A COMMERCIAL Tertiary Qualification
Self-starter and a great leader. Great negotiating skills.
