POSITION INFO:

A Dental Practice in Centurion, Pretoria is looking for a Temporary, skilled HPCSA Registered Dental Assistant to Locum from the beginning of August, until the permanent assistant can start in September. This busy practice requires an exceptional individual to join the team. The ideal candidate must be able to start as soon as possible.  

Some of the duties would include:
Preparing patients for procedures, assisting the dentist during treatments, sterilising instruments, and maintaining a clean and organised treatment area. Take X-rays, manage patient records, schedule appointments, handle billing and insurance paperwork, ensure infection control protocols are followed, take impressions, assist with lab tasks and provide patients with post-operative care instructions. The candidate will also monitor and restock supplies to ensure the practice runs smoothly.

Working hours: 

• Working hours are: 07:00 - 16:00 / 08:00 - 17:00 (depending on the schedule)
• and 2 Saturdays per month: 07:00 - 13:00

Rate per day/per month, will be discussed with candidate.

Requirements

• Active HPCSA Registration
• Good Communication and People Skills
• Hard-working and loyal individual.
• Computer Literate
• GoodX
