SUMMARY:

Purpose of the Position

A key leadership role overseeing procurement, logistics, and inventory control for a manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced technical environment and ensures supply chain efficiency, cost control, and quality compliance.

Key Outputs

Coordinate daily procurement, deliveries, and stock control.
Interpret BOMs and engineering drawings to plan purchases.
Maintain correct material storage, labelling, and issuing.
Track material for projects and enforce supplier quality standards.
Enforce team discipline and uphold manufacturing and safety standards.
Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and drive QMS improvements.
Oversee housekeeping and audit readiness in the stores environment.

Minimum Requirements

Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related qualification.
Strong technical knowledge in petrochemical industry is highly advantageous
2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
MS Office proficiency; able to work overtime.
Clean criminal and credit history.
SA Citizen.
Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
