Marketing Coordinator

Kraaifontein RNeg + Pen and Med

Plastic Extrusion and Manufacturing Company specialising in irrigation products seek a Marketing Coordinator. Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations Management, or Communications.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Assisting in developing and implementing short- and long-term marketing strategies and campaigns to create and increase brand awareness:

• supporting marketing development under the direction of the Marketing Manager.

• determining the feasibility and profitability of new or existing campaigns.

• assisting in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy.

Planning according to allocated annual budget.

Overseeing marketing material:

• coordinate, edit, and optimise any material concerning advertising, branding, and marketing;

• maintain good working relationship with design and print suppliers. o Providing marketing assistance to other departments to achieve the company’s goals.

Preparing marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success to present current and forecasted data:

• analysing the feedback of previous or current marketing campaigns.

• analysing website traffic and statistics and/or campaign statistics.

• measuring the impact and outcomes of marketing activities; and

• managing and maintaining the company website with latest updates and information.

Planning and execution of meetings, events, and conferences by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.

Managing the maintenance and development of internal marketing tools and databases. Additional requirements

Ability to work independently, take initiative and run campaigns and events, under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.

Energetic, dynamic, forward-thinking and team player. o Must be an organized, structured and deadline-driven individual.

Occasional travel – the position can entail travelling throughout SA; willingness to work away from home if needed.

Education

– Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations Management, or Communications.
