My client is a well-established architectural and design practice based in Sandton, known for delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions across the commercial and industrial sectors. With a strong reputation built over decades in the industry, they’re currently seeking a skilled and Revit-proficient Architectural Technologist to join their growing team.

Job Description

You will:

Contribute to the design development of commercial and industrial projects.
Prepare technical drawings, documentation, and specifications in line with project and regulatory requirements.
Participate in tender submissions, including renderings and presentation materials.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and quality delivery.
Work within a collaborative, BIM-driven environment using Revit as your primary design and documentation tool.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in architecture, preferably on commercial and industrial projects
- Proficiency in Revit
- SACAP registration (or in process of registering)
- A tertiary qualification in Architecture (an Honours degree is advantageous)

Skills

Strong understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and technical detailing
Excellent technical drawing and documentation abilities
Skilled in rendering, presentation preparation, and tender processes
Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and time management skills
Comfortable in a BIM-driven environment with a collaborative and proactive mindset
