Machine Setter

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Machine Setter to join our plastic moulding manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection moulding machines, with specific experience in Winbox and Tederic systems, robotic integration, and advanced fault-finding capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate injection moulding machines for production runs
• Program and operate Winbox and Tederic machine control systems
• Integrate and troubleshoot robotic systems and automation equipment
• Perform advanced fault finding and diagnostics on machinery and systems
• Conduct machine changeovers and tool installations efficiently
• Monitor production quality and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain optimal machine parameters for consistent output
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

• Proven experience as a Machine Setter in plastic moulding manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with Winbox control systems
• Working knowledge of Tederic machine operations
• Experience with robotic systems and automation integration
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Understanding of injection moulding processes and parameters
• Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions
• Knowledge of plastic materials and their properties
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Attention to detail and quality focus
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work shifts as required

• Technical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Experience with different injection moulding machine brands
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Basic programming skills for robotic systems
• Understanding of quality control processes
