JOB SUMMARY:
Our manufacturing client in Cape Town is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Machine Tool Maintenance Fitter to ensure all maintenance within the Foundry and Factory departments are performed to the correct standards in a safe and responsible manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES:

Ensure effective repair/maintenance activities are carried out daily or as required.
Supervision of apprentices whilst carrying out tasks with the artisan.
Ensure that all Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality requirements and processes are adhered to within field of work

REQUIREMENTS:

5 years’ post apprentice experience
Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical experience
Diagnose faults, strip and re-assemble machines unsupervised
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
GMP certified for basic arithmetic, dexterity, measurement and eye test
Reside in Cape Town
