Summary: Company based in Menlyn, South Africa is seeking for a Manager: Women Distribution Channel, in the Women Distribution Channel department.



Job Description


  • To assist with managing the functions of the Women's Distribution Channel department

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Strategic plan for the department
  • Monitor the sales team to meet the production targets
  • Monitor the Implementation of the sales strategic plan, to ensure that department meets its set target
  • Assist with management of National Budget
  • Assist Head of WDC with the management of the budget

Monitor and maintain distribution level

  • Monitor the development of Sales Manager
  • Provide guidance and advice to Sales Managers

4.Assist in Identification and develop new markets

  • Assisting in the development of strategic plan to identify potential new markets
  • Responsible for the research and production marketing needs
  • Monitors the management of business retention at sales level

5. Sales Administration

  • Responsible for the managing the liaison with Marketing and Sales Support Intelligence (MSSI) and the Human Resources Department
  • Responsible for the management of the applications forms for the correctness of the applications, capturing of the applications and scanning of the applications
  • Responsible to manage the recruitment process of new representatives and liaise with MSSI and TD
  • Responsible to manage the onboarding process to ensure it meets all the regulatory requirements and/or company processes and procedures
  • Follow-up with MSSI and Training Department on annual assessment and make necessary arrangements with Sales Managers


  • Responsible for the management of Regulatory requirements
  • Responsible to ensure that the supervision process is followed where reps are under supervision
  • Reports to Head of Business on the supervision
  • Responsible for the monitoring of representatives to ensure that the rendering of the financial services that are conducted in accordance to FAIS
  • Responsible to assist, monitor and coordinate the complaints resolution process
  • Responsible to monitor & ensure the management of the quality assurance process
  • Responsible for input, tracking and resolution of non-compliances identified by the Compliance Department
  • Responsible for the management of the Market Conduct requirement
  • Responsible for the ongoing monitoring to ensure that the marketing by the division encompasses the fair treatment of client (i.e. Fully qualified reps, FNA conducted, Completion of ROA, timeous resolution of complains, Reps know the products)


Formal Education:

  • Degree in Business Management or relevant
  • Technical/Legal Certification
  • Recognised FSB qualification
  • RE5 & RE1
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years relevant Management experience
  • 3 years Financial services experience
