POSITION INFO:
Our client, an established, well-known, and market-leading service provider in Ceres, is looking for a hardworking and experienced Mechanic to join their team and help maintain company assets in excellent condition to deliver a world-class service. A market-related remuneration package, including a contribution to a Retirement Annuity and Funeral Fund.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effective maintenance of Company vehicles and trailers.
- Electrical work on vehicles and equipment.
- COF and roadworthiness of vehicles.
- Service records of vehicles.
- Stock Control.
- Assistance with unplanned breakdowns.
- Ad-hoc tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric certificate.
- A Mechanical Certificate/Diploma will be advantageous.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance of trucks, equipment and trailers.
- Ability to perform and operate under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Code 8 Driver’s license, preferably EC Driver’s license.
