JOB SUMMARY:
Our client a Construction Support and Finance provider to small and medium contractors, for Government Projects is seeking to urgently place a Mechanical Pr. Eng / Pr. Tech Eng:

Duties:

Provide professional Mechanical Engineering services to internal and external clients
Manage, administer and monitor the delivery of projects from inception to completion
Mechanical Designs and drawings for Industrial, Commercial and Health infrastructure buildings
Leading a Design team and liaising with other professional team members and contractors
Attending Project meetings
Performing facility conditions’ assessments
Compilation of tenders, RFQs and proposals
Coaching and mentoring - junior staff
Conducting Technical reviews to ensure that designs are in accordance with project requirements
Lead and Manage the Mechanical Engineering department

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Gr.12 / Matric / N3
MS Office, Excel Pivots and Formulas, AutoCAD / CATIA / Solid Edge / SolidWorks / FEA / MATLAB Primavera / MS Project, WinQS, CSS Candy, (FIDIC, NEC, JBCC contracts)
B.Eng Mechanical Engineering
Afrikaans speaking and Bilingual in English
10+ Years’ experience (5 Years’ experience must be post Professional Engineer registration) – Project list will be required and verified
Must have a valid drivers’ license
