An engineering company in Pretoria is seeking a mechatronic engineer.

POSITION INFO:
We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Mechatronic Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience and contribute to exciting real-world engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechatronic systems and components
Support senior engineers in R&D, prototyping, and product improvement
Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues
Help create technical documentation, reports, and user manuals
Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or systems
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of mechanical design, electronics, and embedded systems
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and basic programming (e.g., C/C++, Python, or PLCs)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced engineering environment
