POSITION INFO:
Are you a qualified Millwright with a passion for hands-on technical work and innovative problem-solving? We are looking for a Plant Technician (Millwright) to join our client's team in Port Elizabeth, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of their manufacturing plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Build and maintain blasting machines.

Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
-
Monitor plant efficiency and vital signs.
-
Support quality control, housekeeping, and project planning.
-
Daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
-
Millwright Trade Test (Section 13 or 28)
-
N3 Technical Certificate (Electrical or Mechanical)
-
3 years apprenticeship + 2 years post-qualification experience

Code 10 Driver’s License (minimum)
-
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Ideal Qualifications

National Diploma or N6 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

PLC programming knowledge

Code 14 Driver’s License & Wireman’s License

Remuneration: R20 000 - R25 000 per month
