POSITION INFO:

Are you a qualified Millwright with a passion for hands-on technical work and innovative problem-solving? We are looking for a Plant Technician (Millwright) to join our client's team in Port Elizabeth, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of their manufacturing plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Build and maintain blasting machines.

• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

• Monitor plant efficiency and vital signs.

• Support quality control, housekeeping, and project planning.

• Daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and reporting.

Minimum Requirements

• Millwright Trade Test (Section 13 or 28)

• N3 Technical Certificate (Electrical or Mechanical)

• 3 years apprenticeship + 2 years post-qualification experience

• Code 10 Driver’s License (minimum)

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English

Ideal Qualifications

• National Diploma or N6 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

• PLC programming knowledge

• Code 14 Driver’s License & Wireman’s License

Location:  Port Elizabeth

Remuneration:  R20 000 - R25 000 per month
