Motorcycle Technician

Our client is looking for a Qualified Motorcycle Technician to join their team in Cape Town. The right candidates needs to ensure the preparation, servicing and repairs of all motorcycles within workshop are executed to the exact standards and efficiencies required. Responsible for leading and mentoring all technical staff within workshop.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for vehicle diagnoses
• Ensure all job cards are updated accurately
• Responsible for (technical / non-technical assistance) to workshop staff
• Attend general departmental meeting and maintain good housekeeping
• Attend BMW SA technical training
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on motorcycles
• Dismantle, inspect, assess, repair and assemble motorcycle engines and related system components.
• Diagnose and repair faults in motorcycle engines and related system components.

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate
• Valid Motorcycle Drivers’ licence
• Qualified Motorcycle and Scooter Technician (Red Seal Certificate)
• Motorcycle workshop experience essential
• Computer Literate
