SUMMARY:
A leading financial services provider is seeking an experienced Investment Operations Specialist to join its dynamic team. This role sits within the Investment Services division and focuses on complex Multi-Manager Unitization and Transition activities.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the implementation of portfolio structures, manage cash flows, and coordinate fund transition processes.
Perform oversight and analysis of daily NAV pricing, including impact assessments, ad hoc unit price rebuilds, and validation of product performance for clients.
Review and monitor policyholder fee accruals such as:
- Management fees
- Capital Gains Tax (as per Schedule 8 of the Income Tax Act)
- Dividend Withholding Tax (DWT), REIT tax, and other asset-based taxes
Manage business process enhancements for onboarding new clients and portfolio changes.
Collaborate across functional teams to ensure robust and efficient operational processes are in place.
Lead or contribute to specialized projects, including weekend implementations when required.

Requirements

A relevant BCom degree (or equivalent qualification).
5 – 7 years of experience in an Investment Operations or Asset Management environment, preferably within a Multi-Manager setup.
Exposure to unitization systems (e.g., Interlink) and investment admin platforms such as InvestOne, HiPort, Eagle One AIMS, or SMAC would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of asset-based taxation (CGT, DWT, etc.).
Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
High attention to detail and technical accuracy.
