Job Description
The Sales Manager’s key responsibilities include:
New Business Development – NEED A HUNTER
- Capturing new business in corporates with own or outsourced fleets of a minimum 100 units
- Networking, prospecting, and cold calling
- Drafting and formulating proposals
Reporting
- Weekly reporting to Sales Director on pipeline and opportunities
Account Management
- Managing accounts of business secured
- Maintaining and developing relationships in your accounts
- Generating reports, dealing with all programme information handling and distribution required in the smooth running of the programme.
- Assisting team of 5 sale’s people with their clients and presentations
- Management of sales team
- Need to change the sales cycle from 12 months to 9 months
Skills, Competencies & Minimum Criteria
- Tertiary level qualifications preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience within service/solutions
- Extensive experience in delivering boardroom presentations at the executive level.
- Ability to handle a complex sale that involves many stakeholders and decision-makers in an organisation
- Strong Telematics experience
- Proven ability of new business development through prospecting for new business via networking and cold calling
- Vast business acumen with exceptional written and spoken language ability.
- Own reliable transport – non-negotiable.
Core Focus Area’s
- A1 Camera’s – Dash camera. Currently have the best specs in South Africa. Would also look at cross-border opportunities
