National Sales and Distribution Manager

Our client has been operating a family-run South African company of avocado suppliers for 15 years. They are now looking for a dynamic National Sales and Distribution Manager.

The position can be based in either KZN (Pietermaritzburg) or Stellenbosch.
.
Main roles and responsibilities:

Setup and implement a sales and distribution strategy for the Group (4 regions including retail sales, hospitality sales and key account sales for ripe and ready.)
Plan and support marketing campaigns
Plan, implement and monitor distribution requirements for each region.
Compile operating budgets for sales and distribution
Manage sales staff with targets and performance tracking.
Compile relevant KPIs for sales staff.
Implement relevant CRM platforms.
Give monthly feedback to senior management.

Experience

Bcom Marketing / Business Management degree (or equivalent) will be beneficial.
Management of fresh retail, food service and wholesale accounts.
Logistics
Liaising with 3rd party service providers

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Salary: R60 000 p.m. (with commission structure)
