JOB SUMMARY:
Our client operating within the Engineering and Manufacturing Sector is seeking to appoint a methodical, proactive, intelligent, and energetic new business sales executive to join their team. The purpose of the role is to unlock new industries for the company. The incumbent of the role will be responsible for extensive international travel and frequent customer contact to build and maintain customer relationships. The role requires strategic market analysis and recommendations on increasing market share and sales turnover.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DIRECT B2B SALES
  • Service customer base
  • Achieve region sales targets
  • Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms
  • Initiating, planning, and executing sales calls
  • Assist with customer complaint resolution
  • Responsible for Sales Procedure:
  • Production Capacity requirements.
  • Responsible for all client requests and any relevant information regarding clients (current, new, potential, and lost customers).

MARKETING & MARKET ANALYSIS

  • Determine main barriers to market entry (e.g., Legislative, regulatory, and other)
  • Assist with feasibility info gathering:
  • Identify specifications (technical, packing requirements, finish)
  • Identify competitors
  • Identify pricing
  • Identify market trends
  • Identify regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO)
  • Assist with determining market entry strategy (4 P`s)
  • Assist with marketing campaign ideas
  • Liaise with stakeholders (sales, logistics, production, engineering, R&D, finance, procurement, HR)
NEW PRODUCT BUSINESS EXPANSION
  • Accountable for Client queries & feedback, provide accurate feedback with correct information to client and within reasonable time.
  • Maintain corporate customer relations and positive customer service levels at all times.
  • Ensure clear communication with customer about product specifications, new products, and correct price policy standards.
  • React to new client requests for information as a matter of priority.
  • Assist with in resolving the complaint together with sales team, and related parties.
  • Identify additional new products/industries that fall within TS`s manufacturing capabilities

Education
  • Matric
  • B-degree in sales and/or marketing
Experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience in the same or similar role
  • Technical product sales experience will be highly favourable
  • Exposure to diverse international customer base of clients (EU, CN, UAE, US)
  • Experience in manufacturing sector highly beneficial
