Operations Manager - Cape Town - Bellville

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Ø5 – 7 Years in Operation Warehousing & Distribution Management role within a QSR / FMCG environment.

ØGrade 12 with Tertiary degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Management or similar.

ØMS Office PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Advanced MS Excel Skills.

ØAdvanced Warehouse Management System’s experience.

The Key Functional responsibilities of the Operations Manager include but are not limited to:ØCost control Warehouse expenditure is managed within budget.

ØLabour is managed within budgeted KPI’s.

ØStock losses are managed within budgeted KPI’s.

ØStock damages are managed within budgeted KPI’s.

ØRepairs and maintenance is managed within budgeted KPI’s.

ØMachinery is managed within budgeted KPI’s.

ØCost overruns are investigated and appropriate countermeasures are instituted to prevent further overruns.

ØExpenditure is recorded in correct period.

ØAccounts are accurate.

ØProcess Compliance

ØContinuous Improvement.

ØPicking.

ØReceiving.

ØFacility and equipment maintenance (buildings, racks, plant, delivery equipment etc.) Assets are well maintained, clean and good working order.

ØWarehouse is well maintained, neat and clean.

ØHealth and safety repairs are completed without delay.

ØPreventative maintenance is carried out according to program.

ØEverything has a place, every place is labelled and everything is in its place.

ØAttend and contribute to daily sessions.

ØPlanning.

ØReporting.

ØRisk management.

ØPeople management.
