Operations and Logistics Administrator

POSITION INFO:

This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly organised individual to join Stems’ dynamic and fast-paced team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to both the logistics and commercial departments and will report to the Logistics Manager.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily stock intakes and performing stock comparisons with cold store facilities (using EDI-files)
• Updating and amending stock to ensure accurate inventory records
• Capturing container loadings on ERP system (DiPAR)
• Communicating precise loading instructions to cold store facilities
• Distributing relevant logistical documents to associated parties
• Signing off logistical invoices
• Providing essential administrative support to the Logistics and Commercial teams
• Overseeing document retrieval and storage (XML's/File Management)

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of administrative experience, preferably within the fruit industry
• High computer literacy, with a decent knowledge of Produce chain ERP systems being a strong advantage
• Proven abilities in organising, administration and problem-solving
• Strong focus on attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
• A track record as an above-average team player
