Operations and Supply Chain Coordinator

Our Client is looking for a competent Operations and Supply Chain Coordinator to assist the Head of Operation & Logistics in maintaining the smooth operation of raw materials and production.

Responsibilities:

• Production Execution at all facilities
• Managing of Raw Material
• Procurement of Raw Materials
• Quality control
• Manage and facilitate production plus 3rd warehouse teams ensuring policies and corporate rules and regulations compliance
• Coordinate raw material cost | risk | soh through a number of methods including service/supply agreement negotiations, alternative sourcing projects etc
• Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times
• Procurement of raw materials and continues improvement thereof
• Support targets and performance indicators with KPI reports.
• Compile KPI statistics on supplier performance, anticipate and address potential deficiencies.
• Develop, update and maintain procedures and work instructions to reflect current ISO practices Quality control
• Review MRP weekly to order raw materials as needed to meet production requirements.
• Monitor MRP health and initiate corrective action when necessary.
• Define the functional requirements of the WMS system implementation base on operational realities.
• Work with 3 rd parties and partners to address issues during non-liable confirmations and/oridentify problematic vendors.
• Possess full control and accountability for the successful completion of daily supply operations
• Facilitating cross-channel feedback from customers and employees to management
• Working with team leaders, managers, and department heads to learn departmental needs and goals
• Observing, reviewing and analysing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made
• Identifying and resolving any problems in the production process
• Assisting with the management of daily operational activities
• Monitor raw stock levels to highlight minimum and excess levels and therefore prevent part shortages
