SUMMARY:
Our Automotive OEM Client seeks an Outbound Logistics Controller to be responsible for managing the process of moving finished goods from the business to its customers.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Matric and a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain or related
Experience within an Automotive OEM Company
5 years+ in:
- Order Processing and Fulfillment:
- Shipping and Delivery:
- Inventory Management:
- Returns Management:
- Communication and Coordination: Collaborating with various departments, including sales, customer service, and warehouse operations, to ensure smooth outbound logistics.
- Cost Optimization: Identifying opportunities to reduce shipping costs and improve overall logistics efficiency.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outbound logistics, such as delivery times, accuracy, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

Verifying order details against customer purchase orders.
Assigning orders to the appropriate warehouse and shipping method.
Packing goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Tracking shipments and providing updates to customers.
Resolving any issues or discrepancies related to shipments.
Analyzing shipping costs and identifying potential cost-saving measures.
Developing and implementing new logistics processes to improve efficiency.
