SUMMARY:
Bronkhorstspruit Area – Gauteng: Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven professional to fill a key role at their state-of-the-art boar station and laboratory.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a keen eye for detail and thrive in an environment that values organisation and structure. Adaptability is key, as the role will entail a variety of tasks and flexible working hours.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Agricultural Diploma / Degree in animal production
Minimum of 5 years previous pig farm management experience
Energetic and a positive attitude
Strong animal husbandry ability
Proven AI ability
Computer literate
Strong administrative background
Ability to work well within a team

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Customer communication
Collection, evaluation, and dilution of boar semen
General farming operations
General farm maintenance & security
Laboratory work and management
Boar house management
Overseeing semen collection
Orders, stock management, and general admin
Maintaining herd health and biosecurity
Admin and record-keeping
Staff management
