SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for a number of business units including all associated activities to deliver a value-adding, cost-effective and customer-focused payroll service to the business and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

POSITION INFO:

Payroll Administrator

Area: Roodepoort, Gauteng

Package: Basic salary R32500, plus Medical Aid, Provident Fund, 13^th cheque

Purpose of the position: You will be responsible for a number of business units including all associated activities to deliver a value-adding, cost-effective and customer-focused payroll service to the business and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties:

Monthly group payroll administration – 400 employees
Processing of weekly and bi-weekly wages for 200 employees
Generating monthly reports
Maintaining of People System, setup of GLs and mapping
Investigating discrepancies in payroll
Provident Fund administration and reconciliation
Bargaining Council Administration -NBCFRLI; BCMT and BCRCAT
Department of Labour mid-year and year-end audits
Annual submission of Return of Earnings to workman’s Compensation, registration of new companies, de-registration of old companies
Submission of IODs to Workmans Compensation and RMAs and the administration related to the claim

Skills, Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Matric
Accurate
Able to work independently
Sage 300 People
MS Office suite
Experience with Bargaining Councils
Credit and criminal clear
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
