🎯 The Role: Payroll Administrator

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

✅ Payroll Administration

• Process weekly and monthly payroll for all employees
• Ensure compliance with SA labour laws, SARS, UIF, SDL, COIDA, etc.
• Administer benefits (e.g. MIFBA, Allan Gray, Sick Fund, Momentum Group Life)
• Maintain accurate payroll records and secure data handling
• Reconcile accounts and resolve payroll-related discrepancies
• Collaborate with finance and assist during audits

✅ Accounts Payable Support

• Process HR-related payments (sub-contractors, training, claims, allowances)
• Maintain and update the Payments List to ensure timely transactions

📌 What We’re Looking For

✅ Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate (required)
• Payroll/HR qualification (advantageous)
• In-depth knowledge of South African payroll regulations

✅ Experience

• 3+ years as a Payroll Administrator in South Africa
• Familiarity with statutory submissions and reporting

✅ Software Skills

• Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g. Sage Pastel, VIP, SAP, SimplePay)
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
