Job & Company Description
My client is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team. The successful candidate must possess a strong financial background. Once the payroll is closed, the successful candidate will still be involved in the financial elements, namely, debits, credits, recons and liaising with Finance regularly. My client operates on an inhouse system so no specific system knowledge is required.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum qualification of NQF 6
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience within payroll
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role within payroll with more than 10 employees reporting to them
- A very strong financial background
- Experience with debits, credits and recons is advantageous
- Must have managed a headcount of at least 10 000 employees
- Must have experience with complex payroll
