SUMMARY:
Applications are invited from qualified candidates with appropriate qualifications and experience for the position of postdoctoral research fellow (PDRF) in the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, University of Fort Hare, East London Campus.

POSITION INFO:
Eligibility Criteria

A PhD in Social Work
Areas of research should include but not limited to child protection, vulnerable children, early childhood, social work education.
Show evidence of previous publications in these areas of research
Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree within the last five years.
Preference will be given to South African citizens.
Grounded in qualitative research methodology.
Ability to publish at least 2 units in DHET accredited journals.
Successful candidate will be required to relocate to University of Fort Hare, East London campus

The annual stipend for this position is R300,000, which will be paid in four equal instalments. The appointment is for a 12-month period and will be renewed subject to the production of 2 Units in DHET accredited journals.
