JOB SUMMARY:
Our sister company based in Midrand is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer with experience in the following products: Trellix and Skyhigh. The Pre-Saless Engineer will be required to provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in the development of fully integrated technology solutions in support of pre-sales activities in the assigned market.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education and Experience:
  • 2 – 5 Years’ technical experience within the IT Industry
  • A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.
  • CompTIA A+, N+, Security +, MCSE, CCNA OR equivalent certifications
  • Demonstrated strong written and presentation skills with the ability to discuss cyber security technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
  • A high level of business acumen and experience working, bringing technology solutions to solve business challenges
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the analysis, design and development of fully integrated cyber security solutions.
  • Acts as technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of customers.
  • Technical emphasis is on understanding IT security hardware and software capabilities, compatibility, and integration with other systems.
  • Provide technical support and professional services to customers
  • Makes technical and sales presentations to customer's technical staff and senior management.
  • Conducts research, answers questions and address objections that arise in a sales campaign.
  • Serves as a trusted technology advisor to customers and serves as an internal resource on technical issues or specific business applications within an assigned market segment.
  • Works with Sales team to develop and implement specific market penetration strategies, produce customer specific product, service, and sales plans.
  • Research on technology and/or market trends and provides guidance to the business and external clients on direction to take to stay relevant and competitive.
  • Successfully build relationships with the account team, partners, and customers in support of sales objectives.
  • Leads technical sales calls.
  • Qualifies sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
