Process Engineer (Metallurgist)

Our client is looking for a Metallurgy Process Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Suitable candidates will have working experience in heavy/large manufacturing processes (Steel/ Alloys /Metals), Quality Assurance and Control & Project Management. You should have appropriate knowledge of Steel products and Smelting/Refining of other materials. The role requires you to determine product characteristics based on customer or specification requirements & develop process parameters to meet these requirements.

Ideally you will be experienced in Product Optimisation (quality, yield, volume, cost) & implementing business systems (rules/ procedures) to resolve technical, system and metallurgical problems.
