POSITION INFO:

This multinational concern in energy generation is now on the lookout for an independent and ambitious Procurement Officer to join their vibrant finance team on a 12-month contract basis. This amazing opportunity will allow the successful candidate to exhibit their high performing skills. The ideal individual for this role will have hands-on experience in supply chain and procurement.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:

Support procurement requests and confirm needs
Execute the core aspects of the supply process
Manage supply logistics
Manage and resolve non-compliances and disputes
Reporting and feedback

As you will be responsible for hitting the ground running extensive experience is essential. You will also be hands-on involved with the department.

The requirements:

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in procurement or supply chain or NQF equivalent
CIPS level 4 or higher is preferred

Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ functional experience covering procurement, supply chain and logistics
Experience in operational procurement preferably in power plants

Skills Required:

Good autonomy
Team player
Good analytical skills
