SUMMARY:
JOB DESCRIPTION:

To render procurement support to the organisation and execute Supply Chain Management functions to assist the organisation in achieving its goals and objectives, as directed by the Manager: Supply Chain Management.

POSITION INFO:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Diploma in relevant field
Bachelor’s degree/BTech (Logistics/Supply Chain Management) or Equivalent
5-8 years’ experience in procurement
6 years + experience in Supply Chain Management and Governance & Compliance

KNOWLEDGE & OTHER SKILLS:

Advanced Excel & knowledge working on SAP / Pastel / SAGE
Knowledge of procedures for purchasing and invoicing supplies and equipment
Ability to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid manner
Knowledge of formal bid procedures
Ability to write clear bid specifications, test materials, and evaluations, and analyse vendor bids
Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to deal effectively with vendor representatives
Effective communication and interpersonal skill
