A leading Freight Forwarder is looking for a sales executive who is focussed onsolution based selling and preparation and execution of business reviews.
We are looking for a highly successful sales persons with core Pharma sales experience, and core operational understanding of handling Pharma commodities, eg healthcare, medicines, medical equipment.
In this role you will:
- Identify new business
- Identify your plan of action, goals and objectives
- Maintain/grow profitability of key customers
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Conduct regular business reviews where applicable and align with operations on customer’s requirements
- Identify service issues, initiate corrective action, continuous improvement and ensure issues are resolved timeously in conjunction with internal stakeholders
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders
In order to apply you need:
- Bachelors / First University Degree
- 5 to 10 years of experience with proven a record of business development, supply chain management experience and international forwarding and contract logistics knowledge
- You have proven industry knowledge of Pharma and Healthcare
- You have operational experience in one of the core transportation modes being sold
- Has experience in reefer sales – so understands temperature control environment for Pharma.
- Are 100% up to date with ZA Pharma regulations
- Good overview or a certificate of WHO Annexure 5 will be a distinct advantage.
- ISO pharma standard will also be an advantage
- A clean criminal check is mandatory due to the high sensitivity of the product.
