About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Production And Admin Assistant

Stipend: R6200.00 pm

Location: Johannesburg (Randburg)

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities

• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for production executives and team members.
• Organise and maintain production documents, call sheets, crew lists, and contracts.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
• Prepare and submit expense reports, purchase orders, and payment requests.
• Serve as a liaison between production staff, talent, vendors, and external partners.
• Assist in onboarding crew and talent by organising start paperwork and credentialing.
• Track and manage office supplies, production equipment needs, and inventory.
• Maintain a filing system for confidential and sensitive production-related documents.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications in a professional manner.
• Support production meetings by preparing agendas, taking notes, and distributing materials.
• Help ensure production runs smoothly by proactively identifying and resolving logistical or administrative issues.
• Assist with post-production administrative tasks such as tracking deliverables.

• South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
• Must not have participated on the programme before.
• Matric
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; professional phone and email etiquette.
• Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with talent/crew.
• Problem-Solving: Resourceful and proactive in solving scheduling, logistical, and communication issues.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours, evenings, or weekends during production periods as needed.
