JOB SUMMARY:
Our client a Construction Support and Finance provider to small and medium contractors working on Government Project, is seeking to urgently place a Programme Manager Pr. QS or Pr. Arch:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Quantity Surveying:

Measurement from plans for the preparation of Bills of Quantities
Preparation of estimates
Travelling to sites to prepare progress claims
Preparation of progress payment certificates and final accounts
Attending site and technical meetings as and when required
Other duties as outlined in the SACQSP, deliverables for each Procap Stage 1-6

Programme Manager:

Manage team of consultants and contractor through project cycle stage 1-6
Management of project programmes and ensure deliverables and expenditure targets are achieved
Facilitate stage report submissions and management of client requirements
Preparation, monitor and reporting on Programming and Cash flows on the Western Cape Government Public Works and Transport management programme
Chairing the BEC panel, including preparation and compilation of BEC documentation for presentation to the BAC panel
Managing client relationships and related outputs and deliverables
Verification of payment certificates and consultant invoices for submission to client
Attending planning/site and technical meetings as and when required
Responsible for change management during construction
Financial administration of projects
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time, in line with your position, qualification and experience

Minimum requirements:

Gr.12 / Matric + B.Sc QS or B.Arch degree
10 Years' experience post Professional Registration - Pr. QS. or Pr. Arch.
MS Office; Excel Intermediate (Pivots and graphs) and BizProject
In depth knowledge of the application of the JBCC and NEC 4 Conditions of Contract
Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Own vehicle and valid driver's license
