Project Manager (PMP certified)

SUMMARY:
Datacentrix Cape Town is looking for a Project Manager with PMP Certification.
The position is based at our Centurty City offices and on a hybrid model with flexibility.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Experience required

• Matric or Grade 12 essential
• Degree or suitable Business Analysis qualification – preferred.
• PMP certification - mandatory
• PMBOK certification – highly advantageous
• PMPBOK training attendance – essential
• Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• 7 years’ experience in IT Project Management.
• Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.
• Administratively strong with attention to detail
• Confident and persuasive negotiator
• Ability to successfully engage with a wide spectrum of role players include C Level executives
• Promotes active listening with team members.
• Contributes appropriately to strategic conversations.
• Understanding of Information Technologies.
• Understands basic Internet and client/server architectures.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Valid passport

• Train, educate and lead fellow employees in successful project delivery
• Manage projects according to standards and methodologies set by the employing organisation
• Be a key player and contributor in the national PMO in contributing and improving tools, techniques and governance and demonstrating and active support
• of these values.
• Ability to learn new technologies and contribute to non-PM project activities.
• Adapt and deliver on various tasks and duties that will be assigned from time to time
