A young R&D company developing cutting-edge electro-optical and machine learning technologies—used in civilian, security, and limited defence sectors—is looking for a full-time Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of product development, production, and support projects within a dynamic team.
POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities
Scope and contract projects including negotiation and stakeholder alignment
Define objectives, work breakdown structures, schedules, resources, and deliverables
Confirm adherence to technical requirements and standards
Plan and budget for risks and testing activities
Oversee projects from development through production and support phases
Create and gain approval for business plans and metrics
Manage project milestones, quality, cost, time constraints, and risks
Lead and coordinate internal teams and external contractors
Manage stakeholder communications and expectations
Report on project progress, costs, risks, and resource utilization
Manage acceptance testing and handover to production

Contract negotiation
Systems engineering and systems thinking understanding
Risk management and mitigation planning
Leadership and team management in a technical environment
Use of formal project management software
Required Experience
Managing development projects in military or related technology environments
Applying PMBOK or similar project management methodologies
Defining and managing business plans, budgets, and project metrics
Scope and change management within complex projects
Experience with Agile and/or Prince2 methodologies preferred
