Detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager required for a Heavy Engineering Company based in Germiston

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Development and implementation of inspection activities, the detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes.
Responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards set by the company
Maintaining strong overall quality control of products made by the company adhering to reliability, performance and customer expectation
Mechanical engineering background or understanding
Measuring on micrometres
Mechanical sizing and different types of raw materials
Understand machining capabilities and finishes
Does jobbing and custom manufacturing
Good grasping of standards and anomalies to those standards
Understand drawings
