JOB SUMMARY:
Urgently looking for an Electrical Component Quality Control Inspector for an Electrical component manufacturer.
Electrical Qualification essential in combination with a Total Quality Management qualification. Must be ISO9001 Certified within the production industry. Min 3 Years Quality inspection experience essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Min 3 years experience in Quality Control of Electrical manufactured components.
Electrical Qualification (B.com,BTech or N.dip)
ISO9001 Quality Control certified.
Ability to accurately capture and report quality performance data, acting upon poor performance tends.
Use of MS Office applications to generate reports, charts. Graphs, etc.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Problem-solving and resolution analysis.
Use of basic metrology equipment / QC instruments.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 management system.
Decision making and judgment, ability to justify a quality decision which may be unpopular.
Initiative & drive.
Interpersonal skills; strong & articulate communicator both verbal & written.
Willing to travel extensively.

Duties and responsibilities amongst others
The successful candidate must have advanced skills, proven professional experience and detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes. This position will report to the Quality Control Supervisor and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Inspect goods/products from a production line.
Measure, record dimensions, colour and MFI of raw materials, components and products and perform tests with instruments.
Inform production and quality supervisors and setters of non-conforming products and in the event of no corrective action, stop the process.
Identify and place non-conforming products on hold and isolate them from conforming products.
Perform patrol inspections and check the quality of products on a production line by applying work instructions and procedures.
