Quantity Surveyor / Estimator (With Strong Procurement Experience) High-End Residential Building Contractor – Cape Town Building Projects. Head Office based in Durbanville

POSITION INFO:
Are you a detail-driven Quantity Surveyor / Estimator with a passion for high-end residential construction? Our client, a respected Residential Building Contractor specialising in luxury homes, is seeking a highly competent professional to join their growing team.

Key Focus Areas:

Full cost estimating for luxury residential builds
Managing the procurement function from enquiry stage through to award
Preparing BOQs, cost plans, and tender documentation
Evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotes
Monitoring project costs and advising on cost-saving opportunities
Supporting the site teams with accurate cost information
Ensuring all procurement aligns with project budgets and timelines

Requirements:

Minimum 8+ years’ experience as a QS / Estimator in residential construction
Proven experience with luxury or high-end residential projects
Strong procurement knowledge and negotiation skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost management
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Relevant tertiary qualification (QS, Construction Management, or similar)
