JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is in the Service industry based in Pinetown with a vacancy for a Regional Sales Manager.

This role involves the creation and implementation of the overall company sales strategy, by assisting and supporting Sales Managers, Regional Key Account Managers and their broader teams to achieve and exceed budgeted sales, new and existing, and driving customer retention ensuring excellence is achieved across all business units.

Preference will be given to EE candidates.

Minimum Requirements

Relevant Sales Management/ Degree/ Diploma such as sales and marketing or business
Successful track record in Sales management.
Minimum of 3 – 5 years of related experience
Drivers License

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (KPA’S)

setting a regional strategy for sales
Preparing and implementing sales system improvements and implementing change for more effective and efficient sales performance
Achieve turnover growth improving on budget through customer retention, gross sales, product sales, jobbing revenue and Key Account opportunities
Provide inspired and motivational leadership to the Sales Teams
Ensure the retention of people especially the quality sales managers and sales colleagues.
Conduct performance reviews with all key persons to identify and effectively address under performance.
Develop and implement successful cross divisional interaction to create a new RISA culture with increased sales opportunities.
Track/monitor and analyse all aspects of sales including indoor sales
Ensuring infield assessments of the sales teams are being regularly and effectively conducted using the appropriate applications.
Prepare forecasts in collaboration with Sales Managers and KAMS
Drive all cross divisional Initiatives.
Assist in the implementation and development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
Keep accurate records of competitor activities, pricing structures and threats.
Spend time infield with Sales Consultants to ensure the retention and development of these key relationships and identification of opportunities.
Manage and support the Key Account Managers and Client Relation Consultants to decrease contract terminations and losses within the company
Conduct infield customer visits to support the Account Management process and drive customer retention
Setting and ensuring compliance with pricing/discounting policies
working hand in hand with Managers and Capability Leaders to ensure all Training and Skills development gaps are identified, addressed and technical knowledge and sales methodology capability are at a high level.
Scrutinise all sales management tools such as SOLO and Pipeline documentation to ensure consistent and accurate reporting and forecasting across all divisions.
Drive the adoption and usage of all Sales Ecosystem Application
Ensure implementation of RISE Sales methodology & Sales Excellence Path as a performance measure
Effective Recruitment to retain sales colleagues.
