SUMMARY:
A dynamic and fast-growing software and services firm is on the lookout for an Implementation Consultant to join their team. In this client-facing role, you'll play a key part in transforming the way leading listed companies and state-owned enterprises approach their financial reporting and planning. Using a specialised reporting and planning tool, you’ll deliver tailored solutions that drive efficiency and add real value to finance teams.

POSITION INFO:
This role offers a hands-on opportunity to design Excel-based data input templates, build robust reporting structures, integrate data from multiple systems, and develop insightful reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement custom financial planning and reporting tools tailored to client needs.
Configure data templates, reporting hierarchies, and data import processes.
Manage ongoing client relationships post-implementation, identifying areas for optimisation.
Participate in internal initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Provide consistent updates and insights to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

Financial qualification: BCom Finance or equivalent, or completed CIMA.
Strong financial knowledge — able to build full financial statements from a trial balance.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in:
- A finance-based role (e.g. FP&A, management reporting, financial analysis) with responsibility for budgeting and reporting, OR
- Implementation/support of financial software, including template design and data integration.
Advanced Excel skills — strong with formulas, data validation, formatting, VLOOKUP, INDEX, and charting.
Experience building clean, structured Excel models using external data sources.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Excellent communicator with the confidence to engage and train clients.
Energetic and proactive, with the ability to work under pressure.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
