POSITION INFO:
SENIOR PASTRY CHEF
Job Duties:
- Creating and preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Developing new recipes and innovative pastry techniques
- Supervising and training pastry kitchen staff
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborating with the culinary team to create menu items
- Overseeing pastry kitchen operations and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or relevant certification
- Knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavours
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
