Desired Experience & Qualification
- National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety / Environmental / Risk / Quality Management or any alternative equivalent qualification, i.e.. SAMTRAC
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
- At least 5 years’ experience as a SHEQ officer.
- First aid level 2 Certification.
- Fire Fighting Certification.
- In-depth understanding of the manufacturing industry’s Health, Safety, Environmental, Risk and Quality regulations.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), etc.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports.
- Attention to detail.
- Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle a stressful and fast paced environment.
- Ample experience in implementing corrective/preventive measures.
