SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the management of all processes and activities of a group of employees engaged in performing a variety of administrative, stock control and procurement services aligned to the needs of the planning department, whilst maintaining and implementing company policies, procedures, standards and driving the disciplines of World Class Manufacturing principles.

Minimum requirements:
- South African Citizen
- Grade 12
- Qualification in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management will be advantageous
- Computer Literacy (MS Office, EXCEL intermediate, SYSPRO)
- 3-5 years work experience in a store-/stock management/warehouse/procurement environment of which 3 years must on supervisory level
- Proven operational experience in store/stock management and procurement essential
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as and when required
- Technical knowledge of Maintenance buying
- Strong relationship building skills
Physical and Environmental requirements: Incumbent must be able to remain in a standing position for extended periods of time
Work in a variety of environmental conditions with exposure to the heat & dust elements
Move heavy objects with proper equipment
Key performance areas (inclusive but not limited to): - General store & people management
- Process and capture data on SYSPRO
- Procure, receipt, issue and dispatch raw materials, supplies and products to relevant plants
- Inspect incoming deliveries (quantity and quality) and report damages, abnormalities and variances Execute stock inventory, accuracy levels and logistics (storage and distribution of goods)
- Assess stock supply and reorder status
- Maintain high level of discipline to accurately succeed in daily tasks
- Manage imported stock systems and procedure (rebate store)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
