Safety Manager

Our client is looking for a Safety Manager with 6- 8 years’ experience in SHE Management (preferably from a Mining/ Engineering background). Suitable candidates will ensure compliance with the OHSACT and Environmental Acts and Regulations and will manage SHE officers and EMS teams. They will have experience co-ordinating SHE Risk Assessments, Developing, implementing, and reviewing all emergency plans as well as developing Behaviour based Safety programmes. You will be required to Manage investigations of incidents/ accidents & create SHE awareness programmes and advise management on applicable legal changes that could impact on the company.

ISO14001 qualifications and 45001 is a pre-requisite as well as relevant Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
