SUMMARY:
Safety Officer Required – SACPCMP Registered | Residential Development – Paarl ð§

POSITION INFO:
A reputable building contractor is seeking a SACPCMP-registered Safety Officer to oversee all Health & Safety compliance on a high-end residential development in Paarl

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and manage the site-specific Safety Management Plan
Ensure full compliance with OHS Act and SACPCMP regulations
Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, safety audits and risk assessments
Maintain SHE file and ensure all safety documentation is current and complete
Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and external auditors

Requirements:

SACPCMP Registration as Safety Officer (non-negotiable)
Minimum 3 years’ experience on residential or construction projects
Sound knowledge of OHS legislation and construction site safety practices

Strong communication, reporting and leadership skills
