Sales & Customer Service Representative

• Grade 12 (Sales qualification - Diploma / Degree will be an advantage)
• Minimum 3 years sales experience
• Intense experience in building, plumbing & hardware retail / construction supply industry
• Google Workspace, Sage / ERP, Microsoft Windows, Android / Apple IOS, WMS, CRM

Duties:

• Establish and maintain Business relationships with the groups customers.
  • Be the first point of contact in customer queries and resolutions.
  • Achieve sales targets as aligned with the Customer Relationship Manager in your specified region.
  • Prepare month end reports and commentary on your sales
  • Participate in the forecasting process with your Customer Relationship Manager.
  • Own a portion of the forecast numbers. Target 90% accuracy
  • Plan the daily dispatch schedules Manage walk-in customers.
  • Follow up on quotations submitted.
  • Record, monitor and control sales orders received.
  • Manage the distribution of sales orders received and ensure deliveries take place as promised.
  • Advise Head Office of despatch figures on a daily basis.
  • Ensure all pricing is in accordance with agreed published price lists.
  • Manage the sales control systems
  • Report to your superior on a daily basis all matters that do not allow you to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure that the Back Order System is fully up to date
  • Notify the PLW team of any stock requirements that are not on the production schedule
  • All goods received/ returned to be processed on a weekly basis
  • Liaise with the Credit Controllers regarding delinquent accounts
  • Preparation of SCR’s
  • Preparation of credit notes
  • Update project list weekly
  • Control project list tracking file
  • Maintain all approved policies of the company
  • Maintain all systems and procedures of the company, including awareness of customers’ credit status
  • Adhere to the laid down levels of expenditure at all times
  • Adhere to the company’s safety standards
  • Maintain and safeguard company property; the confidentiality of company information
