Our client in the Hardware/Wholesale industry, based in Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ an experienced Sales Manager.

Requirements:

8 - 10 Years successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Previous Industry knowledge in Paint and Hardware is advantageous.
Relevant Sale & Marketing qualification.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Strong business acumen and industry expertise.
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skill.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the Decorative market.
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
Objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Present sales and expenses report and realistic forecasts to the management team.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts.
Remain abreast of all new products and competition status.
