    Position: Sales Manager Monitoring and Network Testing

    Territory: SADC Countries

    Reporting to: Managing Director

    Job Summary: Working with sales channels to drive the sales and marketing of Monitoring and Network Testing solutions and systems in SADC Countries. Main customers will be Government Authorities, such as Regulatory Authorities, Military Institutions, Security Agencies, etc. Responsible for achieving product sales objectives in assigned accounts and countries through the effective development, management and support of sales channels.  Includes meeting or exceeding the sales order targets of Monitoring and Network Testing products in SADC Countries.

     

    Key Responsibilities of the role:

    • Align assigned product business and sales strategies with Company’s business strategy and objectives
    • Achieve sales, business development and market growth targets
    • Achieve excellent service and response time on customer and distributor satisfaction, and manage customer and distributor relationships
    • Achieve product sales objectives in assigned accounts and countries through the effective development, management and support of sales channels
    • Manage and drive revenue through existing channels, as well as research, negotiate and develop new channels and strategic partnerships within SADC Countries.
    • Build strong, knowledge-sharing and profitable relationships with SADC Countries channel distributors.
    • Develop and implement optimal strategies and business plans for sales channels in SADC Countries to achieve sales growth, market development and strong relationship building.
    • Work closely with technical team, distributors, customers and end users.
    • Make presentations and product demonstrations to distributors and customers.
    • Establish contact, business development, cultivation, product positioning proposal, presentation and finally closing sales together with the sales channels.
    • Work closely with client on complete system solutions/configurations, pricing and sales and business strategies for large projects.
    • Work closely with Aftermarket Sales & Service team(s) on installation and commissioning of equipment.
    • Accompany distributors on key/strategic sales calls, customer visits, trade shows, exhibitions, seminars and any other activities required to execute the business strategy.
    • Train distributors’ sales and technical staff in product knowledge.  
    • Provide technical support to both distributors and customers on assigned products.
    • Ensure distributor and customer satisfaction while achieving company targets and goals.
    • Interface between subsidiaries, distributors and customers to achieve balance of interest of all parties.
    • Enjoy working in an international team by respecting other nationalities cultures, religion, workstyle, etc.
    • Ensure all the above will be carried out in accordance to client policies, procedures and relevant legislation.

     

     

     

    Requirements 

     

    • South Africa defense and military exposure 
    • To provide sales track record
