JOB SUMMARY:
We are requiring a Technical Sales Rep who has experience in agriculture calling on Engineers and various Businesses in the manufactoring sector?

Our International Client has an  opportunity for you to manage their growing Sales Portfolio looking after their current clients and new business in the KZN Region?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric plus relevant qualifications highly advantageous
  • Own vehicle and driver’s license
  • Solid and proven sales track record calling on clients within the agriculture sector
  • Excellent communications skills, written, and face to face
  • Ability to close sales successfully
  • Technically minded, solution orientated and target driven
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to prepare reports and logs
  • Independent worker that takes personal responsibility of the full work portfolio
 
 
DUTIES
  • Set up meetings with clients – existing and new business
  • Upselling and continually building solid relationships with existing clients
  • Sourcing new business and growing client base and network
  • Promote the relevant products, and demonstrate clearly how the products in conjunction with the client’s needs
  • Managing quotations and forwarding proposals to clients timeously
  • Answers enquiries and questions from customers related to ongoing use of products, maintenance requirements, operations, and other related information
  • Follow up with clients ensuring solid after sales service is offered
  • Understand company product offerings
  • Consult within a portfolio of clients from various sectors involving textiles, flour mills, food and pharmaceutical manufacturers, chemical and mining companies
  • Attend industry functions, events and training when required
  • Maintain a good understanding of the market: competitor offerings, general intelligence, identifying new opportunities
  • Meeting and exceeding individual targets and the annual company team target
  • Open communication with other relevant departments
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
